I just tried Gina K 80 lb and I don't like it. It's smooth but it makes the ink look splotchy and yes, it takes less ink but the result is kinda funky. Copic Xpress is kinda more expensive (especially after getting more than 200 sheets from pti!) and I honestly need to use all my supplies before spending more (self-imposed frugal approach). Should I sell all my pti paper? lol that could pay for at least 50 sheets of xpress it.

I honestly still have a 50 pack of the PTI because after using the XPress It I couldn't go back. I've only used it now if I need to mix media, like Copics and paper flowers, something like that. With the XPress being .35 cents and the Papertrey being what... .15 cents... I don't really care about the difference. In the end, it's just paper, and I've spent so much on these markers I want to use the best products for them. I just make sure to save every scrap to use for smaller stamps and whatnot and I don't have any problem cutting into a new sheet. Besides, it's like 150 sheets, it'll take a long time to use that up. I heard they also just released a 25 pack, so you could just try it out I suppose.

I buy from simon says stamp, (it's probably the most expensive place for copic related products), 7kidscollege, carpediem, among others and the copic paper is always out of stock! But you're right; the difference is not too substantial but I am honestly worrying with my cardmaking related purchases I'm even thinking to sell the pti sets that, in at least 6 months, haven't used at all and that now are not appealing to me...I know, I know, shame on me!

I like to use a set the moment I get it, but I see what you mean gplusg, sometimes you have that impulse and hit "buy" and then it's like "why did I get this again?" You could try playing with them, but I find that if I leave something alone for a while, even if it's a year, and I haven't forgotten about it completely, I'll eventually use it.
That being said, I'm glad I didn't buy the picnic baskets just cos I was desperate for something to colour. I have much better things now, and $24 a set is really expensive.

I want to place an order but what a friend and I want is out of stock! It's been about 3 weeks now and its still out. I want to spend money but PTI is making it difficult to do that. Oh well have to keep waiting I guess. Damn them for having nice dies.

I mainly bought it as I liked the sentiments!

Because I'm retarded, because I don't know how to fucking READ, I thought the free set was tomorrow and friday. Yes, I'm stupid. I even copied the dates and time into an email that I sent myself, so I wouldn't forget. But STILL failed to read it. Okay, so the free set is JULY. DUH!!!
so, from this month's release I bought the baby animals because while I hate babies I like animals and I got the medallions. cheap, fun, I can deal with that. Also got SOME of the paper. Pretty sure I'll have enough for JULY'S order. ((iz disgusted with self))
